Used in the departure of a friend or peer. Most commonly associated with peace. No one exactly knows how it came about; both words are totally opposite from eachother in respect to "peace" meaning love and "murder" meaning death.

double peace- the act of giving somebody peace twice or doubling one peace. double peace was invented by richard d alverd in 1863, during the first battles of the civil war to promote double peace
