2.) Used to describe a person you don't know, normally male

Plural: Fags) - People who you wish would go away; disappear

(Faggit is not applied in these cases.)

1.) Lets be fags. (lets play cards)

1. A word most commonly used in an extremely derogatory way towards a homosexual or homosexuals.
2. Also very commonly used as a put down to homosexuals without directly pointing towards one or many homosexuals. Will refer to other people or acts as fags. That is how it is applied.
3. Originally referred to cigarettes or sticks/branches.

Fag

A word used to put people down. It is often used by men to put down other men for not being masculine "enough". This word is disrespectful and homophobic. It feeds the norm that people have to be very masculine in order to be respected.

Homophobic person: Johnny is wearing pink today, he's such a massive fag!
