benevolent flipping

Flipping property in a neighborhood not merely for the purpose of profit, but with a priority of improving the neighborhood.

One who does this would be a "benevolent flipper."

Some slumlord offered John $20k for his house, but he sold it to the city for $17k so it would be a rainwater garden instead of yet another North Minneapolis crack house. It's called "benevolent flipping."

Subject Flipping

The art of changing subjects. The subject can be flipped either to improve the quality of the conversation or to avoid a dangerous subject. The ability to subject flip can be improved via the use of google. It is easier to subject flip with a guy than a girl as females tend to be listening more closely to the conversation.

M: I love my car :D It can reach 0-60 in 3 seconds.
S: omg did you see that awsome new movie yet ;).
M: stop subject flipping my new car is awsome.
