Poser Man

'Poser man' is the term dubbed to a man who feels that his physical appearence is far more important than any other attribute of his existance. Commonly applied to males who spend more time shirtless than shirted, this English neologism is derived from the synonyms 'arrogant' and 'twit'.

William: "Oh my, look at that man outside his house. See his rippling torso! I admire how it glistens in the winter snow. Say, isn't it rather cold to be shirtless?"

-the classic mall grab, making your board look like a petty accessory
-has worn supreme before skating
-wears spitfire, does not ride spitfire
-does not acknowledge old school or the different kinds of skating like freestyle or vert
-lofi & bart Simpson
-stereotypical skater social media aesthetic or screen saver theme
-butt boards
-skates to impress girls or boys
-says they can kickflip but can't when you ask because "injury" or "new shoes haven't broke into yet"
-the board they have had for a while and ride has absolutely no razer tail, marks, coned/ wheels, and/or grinded down trucks
-no ollie marks
-collects vans does not skate them
-dresses like stereotypical skater but is not connected to the culture
-rushed progression
-zumies
-has no footy
-eboy hair
-mongo
-commands you to kickflip
-can't even ollie
-rides/buys ripndip
-only knows Tony hawk and maybe nyjah
-vapes and drinks monster and listens to xxxtentacion, mgk, or some other sad boi trap
-hangs out at the skatepark but does not skate
-wears thrasher sweater does not read or watch thrasher
-is a model
-beleives Aaron kyro is the skate god and not Rodney mullen
-does not know who Rodney mullen is
-actually just a cruiser but won't say it
-takes photos and videos with their skateboard but never pictures or videos of them doing actual stuff on it besides maybe cruising down a street in the most boring aesthetically pleasing way
-can't put together a board
-has not seen him

Not really a word that can be defined. I mean, freaking come on, I can call anyone a poser. Emos say kids that don't 'Really have problems' aren't truly emo, when they don't have any effin problems themselves! (Honey, if you're buying all your clothes from Hot Topic, then you are well off.) The way you dress doesn't make you a person! How can you really be a poser with a bunch of made up definitions based on how people dress and what music they listen to? Seriously, grow the fuck up and leave this shit on myspace.

A deragatory term for a person who, in order to fit in, conforms to a popular trend contrary to their actual beliefs. Their overall presentation of themselves differs VERY much from who they actually are. the person most likely believes that their true interests would single them out. these people are sad things to see in society as most of them lack pure creativity and life because they have other people think for them.

Person: It saddens me to see that Allie has become such a poser.
