A crush is when you like someone for a short period of time and you get over it, it normally doesn't last more than a year. Love is a constant feeling that lasts for a long time, possibly forever. Love is a feeling and feelings never die. It may happen that you prioritize some other things (like career, people, family, etc) more than him/her but the feelings never fade, not even a bit. The moment your all alone they're all that you think about.
