Some of you are totally wrong about being emo. I'm emo, I would know. I'm not emo because I think it's cool, I'm a very expressive person, artsy, and I've been emo/punk for most of my life, you guys are ignorant. Yes, many of us are from well-off families who don't understand, but that's our choice. You're stereotyping people you don't even know. I have tons of friends (some who are very popular), I don't cut myself, I'm perfectly happy! There's so many more misconceptions... okay, maybe my hair is half pink, maybe I wear tighter jeans then the rest of you, maybe I listen to less popular music because it's way better than listening to a bleach blond tramp who forgot to wear underwear! It's our choice, and you shouldn't judge. That's like asking a football player why he plays football. So stupid, so trivial, so ignorant.

Cheerleader: Eww, look at that emo kid, disgusting!

Groupie: Ugh, I know! Stupid cuter.

Fucking 12 year olds who thinks there life sucks when both there parents love them and they have a nice house and were curious and now that they cut themselves they now have problems we adults could not understand because we are there parents.they dont work two fucking jobs so there kids can complain about i don't know what the fuck.i know someone you self harms and told them to kill themselves.why did they start?NO CHURCH.church stops and they act like dumd shits that they are and take everything up the ass.

Emo

a person usualy between the age of 11 and 18 who wears tight jeans and brand hoodies

they are usualy from middle class white backgrounds and decide to become an emo because
A) they want to fit in (for some reason)
B) something very minor hapened in their life (like breaking up with some guy/girl) which they make a big deal of

C) they are confused

despite coming from semi privelaged backgrounds emo's usualy promote their life being shitty and hell and want to die

however as there is no real dramam in their lives they simply do this to get attention

The most hardcore Emo's are simply "pussy Goths"
