Trump and Elon Derangement Syndrome (TEDS) refers to an informal, hyperbolic term used to describe an intense, often irrational aversion or obsession with former U.S. President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Symptoms might include:

• An exaggerated focus on the negative aspects of Trump's and Musk's actions, statements, or policies.

• Frequent, emotionally charged discussions or social media posts about them, often characterized by a lack of nuance or context.

• A tendency to attribute all societal or business problems to these two individuals, regardless of their actual influence on the issue.

• Dismissal of any positive actions or achievements by Trump or Musk without consideration.

Derived from the character of Ted Mosby portrayed in the television show "How I Met Your Mother", to Ted on someone is to be heavily in like with said individual. It especially applies to an individual which considers himself/herself to be a "hopeless romantic". It can, but must not necessarily, be accompanied by statements or actions which would seem to the average person as a bit exaggerated, unnecessary, or possibly even bordering on creepy. It is generally used as an endearing term when in the absence of excessive creepiness.

Guy 1: "Everything's been going really great with Tara so far dude... she's smart and pretty; she laughs at all my jokes, likes the same things I do, and she's interested in a relationship instead of just fooling around! WIN!!! She's freaking steak-sauce awesome!"

Guy 2: "You're totally Tedding on Tara then, I take it? Are you gonna serenade her with a string quartet later?"

A euphemism for the insurance/railroad/utility/vacuum cleaner conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway.

Ted and Todd are Ted Weschler and Todd Combs, portfolio managers at Berkshire. Used especially to refer to Berkshire in the future, after Ted and Todd assume all duties from their predecessors Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger.

Then again, Sir. Martin (terrifyingly) said that he thought Ted and Todd's excellent adventure might turn out more like Loews after dad retired...

Cousin Ted

Cousin Ted is just your cousin, and there is nothing wrong with him. Sure, he may be an extremely skinny creature with pale white skin and hundreds of tiny sharp teeth that only shows up at your window after he prowls around the outside of your house at night but I assure you nothing is wrong with him. He's just your good old cousin Ted who has with five small black beady eyes and an unstoppable urge to scoop out your kidneys after you fall asleep from his foul black viscous "sleep inducing saliva", but don't worry. He's just your cousin Ted, and he may or may not make you watch him eat your kidneys as you slowly die from his attack. Again, there is nothing wrong with "cousin Ted".
