The angel effect manifest itself in particular social situations, mostly during a discussion or an argument in which multiple people are involved. Imagine you're having a heated discussion with a person (they're insulting you or something) and a friend steps in to defend your side. You, instead of thanking your friend, start to insult him back for no apparent reason. This is the angel effect.

Person 1: Yo bro how much cream have you used in this pasta, it's awful.
Friend: Nah, it's nice I enjoyed it
You (referring to the friend): shut up!! You can't even cook.

The Charles effect is named after f1 driver Charles Leclerc. He wears bandanas on his head very often. You could often see him wearing them on streams. You can also find some pictures on his instagram with it on.
It is customary to say to people who wear bandanas that they just experience this effect.

The bleached-butthole effect —

1. when a shocking, extreme and uncommon subject seems to be more prevalent and relevant than in actuality and receives disproportionate attention in public discourse, to the expense of normal but often critically important subjects
2. when some butthead exploits the bleached-butthole effect for profit, distracting our collective attention away from more relevant and important things, just so butthead and co. can make a buck
3. when the fourth estate promotes this drama, as they're in the business of keeping our attention, and distractions and theatrics are an effective means of doing so
