A mysterious illness one contracts just after procuring expensive electrical (usually home entertainment classed) devices.

Justin came down with Tech-Flu over the weekend, I heard he got a PS3 last week.

I think the GTAIV DVD case gave me the Tech-Flu when i opened it...

Getting together with someone, usually of the opposite sex to help repair a computer or some similar technical device. Usually, nothing gets accomplished technically or sexually.

"Dude, I just went over to this chick's apartment to help her with her computer. I spent like 20 hours with the thing and it still doesn't work. I didn't get laid either."

tech guilt

Similar in concept to white guilt, tech guilt is a growing feeling among tech workers who are buying or renting homes and apartments made available by the eviction of socioeconomic minorities or the gentrification of "transitional neighborhoods" in major tech hubs like Silicon Valley.

Brad: Can you believe my studio apartment in the mission was Section 8 housing one year ago?! My rent is $4000/month! Oh well, I can afford it.

Jill: I hope you're feeling some tech guilt right now.

He is the tech lead. He is the source of all initiatives in a software project. Do not question anything he says. Do as he tells you. Because he is the tech lead. There is only one tech lead, even though some people might try to claim the title for themselves.

I am a tech lead, but I surely am not THE tech lead.

Super Tech

A Super Tech is a technician that has supreme knowledge in The industrial automation and controls industry. Not to be confused with a loop shooter or even worse an electrical tech. Super techs are a rare breed typically called in on days off to fix something an engineer screwed up. They are the highest paid on the job and for good reason. If you find a pair of his used gloves put them on, you might soak up some of his excellence.

Better call in a super tech. Noone can figure out what's wrong

hermit tech

Modern technology (more specifically home computers and smart devices, audio/video chatting services, messaging services, and remote desktop apps) that allows someone to work in almost complete isolation - mostly in one's own home.

Well I guess I've been preparing for a quarantine for awhile now. With all of my hermit tech, I haven't set foot in an office for YEARS! My coworkers know I'm an email or phone call away, they just don't know exactly where I'm at - and they probably don't need to.
