Get the Plastical People mug.Gold plastic syndrome (GPS) is the phenomenon by which gold-colored plastic tend to be more brittle than other colors of plastic. The term is used to describe gold toy products, which as a result of their color are more likely to fall apart. Gold plastic syndrome can be credited to the less dissolvable quality of many golden pigments, which make it more difficult for toys made of said color to stick together.
Just because its gold plastic doesn't mean its gold. Always remember gold plastic syndrome when buying or handling toys.
