Get the culture sidewayz mug.The culture or active community of people who commit the action of "canceling" someone. To ruin someone's life by getting them de-platformed (banned) off of all social media and have them hated by the majority of humanity. You would do that by finding the tiniest imperfection in their history or a mistake they made. For example a tiny shoplifting crime they'd committed in there past or if they were in the wrong crowd 13 years ago.

Get the Cancel Culture mug.A societal phenomenon in which individuals habitually engage in the practice of constantly measuring themselves, their achievements, possessions, and life circumstances against those of others. This pervasive tendency is fueled by the prevalence of social media, advertising, and the ease of access to others' curated narratives, which can lead to feelings of inadequacy, envy, and anxiety.
Comparison Culture often fosters unrealistic standards of success and happiness, as individuals strive to match or surpass the perceived achievements of their peers, acquaintances, or even celebrities. This can result in detrimental effects on mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being, as the relentless pursuit of comparison tends to overshadow one's own accomplishments and unique life journey.
