Get the hey ronaldmug. (1)A song written by Tom Higgenson and sung by the Plain White T's. Tom wrote the song for Delilah DiCrescenzo in the summer of 2007. He did go to college with her, but they were never in a relationship. In fact, Delilah was very uncomfortable with hearing the song, so when she heard it on repeat everywhere she went, she had to think the song wasn't about her. It never worked.
(2)A greeting. It could just be a friendly greeting like, "Hey there, Delilah!" Unless your name isn't Delilah. Then the person you're talking to is either delusional or referencing the song.
