The act of grinding a boss or activity nonstop, completely isolating yourself from friends and social life, especially when the loot isn't even guaranteed anymore. Often used in the context of online games like Old School RuneScape, where someone keeps killing the same boss over and over, far past the drop rate, ignoring all social interaction.
