A Yuppie who, due to the post-2015 mainstream popularity and visibility of subversive culture through the internet (especially social media platforms), claims ridiculously to be a Hipster; while still embodying the conservative, self-seeking, mainstream, group-think, socially exploitative, advertisement-culture-admonishing, misogynist, patriarchally-conformed perception of suburbanite middle America.

Yuppie + Hipster = Yuppster

A captain of gentrification and social appropriation.

Suburbanite Becky/Bro: "I know all about Capitol Hill (Seattle), I've been here three years. Can't you see my privilege tattoos? This culture is about me now, or at the very least, policed by me."

Old-School Queer: "Wow, this yuppster embodies all the forces of ignorance, oppression and appropriation; and has just described themselves as a member of the timeline group that caused the gentrification and mass eviction of Capitol Hill. Where's my homemade guillotine?"
