Get the snigs mug.A Sqiglet is an extremely rare breed of Flying Squirrel-Pig that is found in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. This rare sub-species is classified as Sciuridae-Suinae. Sqiglets are omnivores and are highly social and intelligent animals.
Discovery
The only documented species of Sqiglet was discovered by chance in Johannesburg, South Africa on April 28th 2011 by a Scottish Anthropologist. The particular feature that intrigued the Anthropologist was when the Sqiglet was spotted gracefully gliding through a local cafe.
Appearance and Behaviour
Sqiglets are graceful and majestic creatures, with soft olive-toned skin, stunning green eyes with a fiery ring in the iris (symbolic of their wild and resilient nature).
Although not fully understood, Sqiglets are known to perform ritual dance when subjected to rhythmic sounds. Zoologists postulate it is possibly to push warm blood to the extremities of the limbs, which are often frozen.
Although now endangered, Sqiglets were believed to bring joy and happiness into the lives of Pirates who sought such beauty and rarity.
