Snowglobe Effect is when a community, or country (America being a prime example), who lives in the relatively safe confines and pleasant conditions of a 1st world country, crime-free neighborhood, etc, collectively form opinions based on ignorance and with little to no understanding of anything outside their "bubble haven" or echo chamber. This demographic who could be coined as highly opinionated snowflakes, initiate in controversial and political topics with little understanding of politics and living conditions of others around the world.

After which they turn their attention to the other demands and interests in their life, without any regard for their lover’s emotional or physical needs, content in the knowledge that whenever they desire something that only a their lover can provide (e.g. affection, sex, to be wined-and-dined, conversation), that their lover is awaiting their beck and call upon their mantle.
She's just a snowglober, so don't ever expect her to bring you into her world or to care deeply about yours.
