One time I was out on a jet ski with a guy whom I couldn’t stand. Shortly after we became close friends then lost touch.

The man in an adult relationship. Similar to "boyfriend" but for adults.

"Hey everyone, this is my manfriend, Richard"
"Don't you mean boyfriend?"

Somebody who is both your sister and girlfriend at the same time. Pretty simple.
