An income challenged white individual from certain sections of Baltimore, MD. A grit will typically have a chain link fence around their small, unkempt yard that somehow has a car on it. Some specimens wear traditional grit garb such as stained wifebeaters and bandanas for hats.

Lee: "Tracee . TRAY-CEEE!!! We gotta take the El Camino all the way from Hollandtown to Dundawk to get scratch-offs and butts with Billy."
