when a guy furiously texts, hangs out and calls a girl with every intention from both parties to do naughty things to each other but nothing actually happening. Dave conversations can include phrases like "we should go out", "do you want to make out after fifth period today", and "of course I have feelings for you... lust yeah thats one of them". Daving will usually last several months and is not a weekend thing. Some Davers have recorded one hundred thousand text messages to a girl with still no action taking place. Daving can develop into a sport among fellow Daves.

Dave is a one-of-a-kind. Tall, with a charming smile and amazing eyes, he's almost to good to be true.

He's sweet, attractive, caring, and incredibly hilarious. He does the most legitimate accents, to the point where they are completely believable! He's smart, charismatic, and basically a perfect person.
