1) The retina melting shade of blue/purple emitted by LED grow lights. Often associated with indoor cannabis growing.

2) The LED light fixture itself which emits the shade described in (1). Often cheap with exaggerated wattage claims.

Ditch that shitty blurple already and get some 5000k LEDs.

A combination/contraction of the words ‘blue’ and ‘purple’ used to mean a color scheme that is comprised of both blue and purple tones together. Not offensive in any way.

My wedding colors were blurple and gold.; I love her blurple sweater!
