The term (singular or plural) used on fans who look upon their favorite bands/actors/celebrities as gods, or as something to be obtained. Usually around the age of 14, but can also be older. The Prey are easily duped into believing any rumour about their favorite band, and are quick to jump to conculsions or become upset when their wishes do not go as planned. Usually bordering on a personality disorder. Commonly socially inept.
The Prey girl wrote a horribly written fanfiction story in which she and Gerard from My Chemical Romance got married. When Mr. Way got married in real life, the Prey was upset and cried for weeks.

Get the Preying mantis stylemug. A reboot on the original PREY franchise, PREY 2017 has a multitude of endings, and any room or objective can be accessed or completed through multiple different paths. Featuring the Typhon, which can only be described as an extraterrestrial genus of black tentacle hentai monsters, the protagonists, Morgan Yu, must either kill all the Typhon by destroying the station and themselves or by using a Prototype Nullwave Transmitter, effectively "lobotomizing" all Typhon species' onboard the station. Though, the player can also choose to abandon the station using an escape pod.
The game also features the fascinating Neuromod, which allows the player to gain skills such as increased strength and hacking capabilities, giving the player a variety of more options when it comes to fighting the Typhon and completing missions.

Get the PREY 2017mug. A very interesting and scary guy. He kind of looks like Spurned Progeny (boss) from Lords of The Fallen but he is also a platypus so he's got platypus parts. And he will hump you (only if you are a guy) if you're not careful so watch out for him when you go to bars late at night. He likes to hide in dark alleyways by populated areas. He will stalk out his prey and once he gets the chance, he will start to strip and pull a crowbar out of his rectum, then proceed to start humping the victim. BUT there is a way to prevent that. If you have a muskrat nearby, you can bait him and he will start humping the muskrat.
