shniggle

(verb) To produce a nasally, snorting grunt, often resembling the sound a pug makes. Typically done in jest, as a reaction to something amusing, or as a form of playful communication.

(noun) A short, snort-like noise made in the back of the throat, usually with a nasal quality, often resembling a pug’s wheeze.

Example: “I couldn’t stop laughing when Bryan shniggled after hearing that joke.”
