A colloquialism generally used in the same context as "see you later" but with the expectation that the person it is being said to will return to the same place soon.

A shortened version of "see you when you get back"

A: I'm running out to the store, be back soon.

B: Okay, see you back.

When you "see" one of your friends flirting with the opposite sex, and sometimes the same sex.

Some of the times he/she may not even be flirting but in the situation you want to make shit awkward you may still "see" them.

(Person A walks up to person B and person C and sees them talking"

Person A: I see you!

Person B: Damn, he caught me...
Person C: Why does he see us?

Example:

As opposed to goodbye kiss. Giving someone a see you kiss when you expect just a short, temporary departure. You don't really have a chance to give someone a "goodbye" kiss if things turn sour with this person or some unfortunate things happened.

Here is your see you kiss, I'll see you next week.
