Lefse

is a delicious traditional soft, Norwegian flatbread.

Basically at first they look like pancakes when prepared/baked but then you cut them up in triangles and put shit in between them like a sammich.

Conversational example:
Norwad: "Hey, would you like to have some lefse? I brought some for lunch."

American: "No, fuck off!"

Norwad: "Uff da..."

Toronto Maple Leafs

A team whose fan base has all the arrogance of the New York Yankees nation, loving a team that is quickly becoming a band of loveable losers (like the Chicago Cubs...). 1967 is a quickly fading memory. A fanbase that evidently has a high threshold for chronic mediocrity, given that they havent made the playoffs the past two seasons. All this from a city which has about as much soul as Des Moines. In Leafs fans minds...they would say they have a World Class hockey team. Most clear headed people know better.

Leafs Nation

A cult like following of the National Hockey League team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Founded in 1917. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Maple Leafs have won 13 league championships.
They are known as being both the most loved, and most hated professional hockey franchise in North America.(Comparible to the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.) The fans of the 'Leafs' are known to be the most obsessive, critical, and self-rightous fans in all of professional sports. Often referring the Leafs Nation as being 'The Center of the Hockey Universe.'

Leafs Nation is also known as a sports media obsessed hotbed, again comparible to that seen in New York (Yankees) and European Football.

If the Leafs win tonight 'Leafs Nation' will be ready to call for a 'Stanley Cup' parade, however if they lose, you can be sure 'Leafs Nation' will be calling for the heads of the team management and players on a platter.
