A ‘baby gay’ is a fruity individual who recently came out of the closet. Baby gay’s may wear a lot of rainbows, maybe speak in ‘cringy’ slang such as “Gay panic!” or “Ew, a straggot!”, they are just as ‘cringy’ and ‘innocent’ as they come.
You would be considered a baby gay if you recently came out of the closet in the past couple years, but more specifically how you act when you do. It’s not exactly a bad thing, every fruity individual went through their ‘cringy Cavetown and rainbow everything’ phase.
Whatever you do though, don’t intervene—it’s canon.

Gaybaby
gaybaby is a slang for a prolonged awkward silence in conversation. It originally was from a pop culture reference that during every awkward silence a gay baby was born. (Adapted from "Its a wonderful life" pop culture reference "teacher says every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings"). Because of this, kids in the 90s and early 00s would race to be the first to exclaim "GAYBABY!" during an awkward silence. Bonus points awarded if it was done in class after an especially awkward silence that follows the teacher scolding a classmate.
