Ghost Run

Created by two guys from East Brunswick in 1987, it is an unofficial tour of the creepiest places in central New Jersey where evil happenings occurred. It is always conducted late at night when the supernatural and followers of the occult are most active. Usually conducted in a large vehicle with six or more passengers. Alcohol is often consumed along the way. The tour guides themselves often set up traps and tricks to freak out their passengers/victims.

After the game on Friday we all climbed into Rod's truck and went on a Ghost Run through Helmetta and Port Street.

Yay Run

Like running an errand, except the purpose is to obtain cocaine and/or other drugs. Derived from slang term for cocaine yay-yo.

I noticed we were running low on cocaine, so i volunteered to go on a yay run and fetch some.

1. A phrase assocciated with the act of prostitution. Stemming from that a prostitute's job may involve standing on a street corner to gain clients.

I hear his new girlfriend has to run the corner to make ends meet.

Running Tech

The process of trying to and and also getting with someone of the opposite gender sexually. Somewhat synonymous with flirting, but encompasses further deeds. Can be extrapolated to other sexual/romantic acts with tech-related wordplay.

Johnny: “Yoooo did you get with that girl Sam last night? She was kinda bad.”
Aaron: “Yeah dude, I wish you heard it I was running tech.”

courtesy run

while waiting to cross the road a kind motorist slows down and indicates you to cross: whilst the actual speed of the run across the road is the same as walking, the illusion of hurrying engenders a feeling of good will between motorist and pedestrian.

Friend A: What the hell was that?
Friend B: That was my courtesy run!
A: But it was no quicker than walking!
B: Yeah but it makes drivers feel better
A: Cunning
B: Like a fox!

Well, my girlfriend found out I cheated on her with her best friend, on her bed, while she was out buying me a gift for our anniversary, and I still need to go back there and get my car keys!

Country Run

A drive through the country with the sole intention of smoking marijuana. Driving while rolling a joint or blunt may or may not be considered part of the country run. Keeping the windows rolled up to keep the smoke inside the car, or to 'greenhouse' is normal. The country is considered safer than the city due to police activity. See also: Hood Run
