The more friends a person has on Facebook, the more they are worth in regards to their "friend stock".

to acquire high friend stock, you must be friends with people. More importantly, be friends with people that have lots of friends.

"Friend Stock" is similar to the business form of stock, in that you add people who are on the rise and drop people on the downfall.

"Wow, ever since Kyle's birthday showed up on the sidebar, his friend stock has skyrocketed!"

"Too bad for Kip though, he's on the downfall ever since he friended that loser with only 2 friends"
