Corporatocracy

An amalgamation of Corporate and Bureaucracy. Meaning that even the most nimble startups eventually end up becoming corporacratic beasts. Where BS jobs are invented. Where there are more middle managers than individual contributors. Where buzzword bingo is the lingua franca.

1. Inventing ways to not pay people is the corporatocracy at work.
2. In a corporatocracy, having meetings for the sake of meetings is seen as 'work'
3. The BS created to get in the way of progress is how the corporatocracy justifies paying middle management.

CorpNewt

One of the greatest programmer's alive, his skill and knowledge has been thought long and wide to be near impossible. That is, until CorpNewt proved otherwise. He has set numerous records in terms of IQ, shattering his previous best, and competing with no one but himself. One of the few mortals in the modern day other then Jeff Bezos to have numerous shrines, this man is thought to be a god walking on earth (In contrast with Jeff, the devil).

Corpus Block

A measure of health in the game MADNESS: Project Nexus.

In-game, a Corpus can be damaged until it is empty, which then it is vurnurable to be broken if it is hit again. If you aren't hit for a period of time, your Corpus will regenerate; This can be sped up by dealing damage. Broken Corpus are lost until you can reach a medkit or a certain point. Losing all of your Corpus will usually result in being incapacitated.

Most adequate people can get up to three, but on average two is more likely, and for the especially frail people, one. It can also be viewed as a direct measurement of your ability to get up after sustaining a lot of injury. Additional Corpus blocks past five can be achieved by wearing stronger armor, or simply getting a lot stronger*

Can also be shortened to just "Corpus"

Apparitional Corporate Leadership

Normally unseen leaders who make most of the major decisions in a dysfunctional corporation. These people appear based on what's in it for them but are completely clueless about ordinary work in the corporation. Like a Department of Apparitions on the top floors of a corporation.

I don't know, somebody up there in Apparitions. You know, the Department of Apparitional Corporate Leadership upstairs.
