the ancient art of removing the paper sleeve from video games or CDs. though to fully pop said sleeve, it needs to be adjusted to fit in the front of said record, for display of tracklist/artwork often times followed by the front book.

oft times performed by fag smoking, bong toking idiots, with no concept of life outside video games and music.

you don't forget how to pop the sleeve, you just re-remember.

J-Popping

To boogie or dance and usually jump enthusiastically around whilst listening to J-Pop or Japanese pop music.

Usually includes the dancer singing what little of the Japanese lyrics they know along with the song, and inevitably singing the English the artist includes as it's the only part they honestly understand.

Though J-Popping is mostly done by Japanese fangirls (though who love everything Japanese, purely because it's Japanese), it is also done by anyone with a passion for happy, energetic music.

"She's really J-Popping, huh?"

edge pop

Overly edgy pop /hip hop subgenre usually mistakaken as rock or in some cases metal. Bands/artists iclude Insane Clown Posse, Lil Darkie, Ghost (most common example), Trippie Red, Ken Carson, Playboy Carti, ETC. Popular mainstream artists with an edgy and/or underground origin or fanbase. This was fed through TikTok wannabe metalheads labeling their favorite artists as metal or another hardcore or underground genre for popularity and/or fame.

Jim: “hey did you see that tiktok of a guy saying that ghost was a metal band?”
Jon: “yeah. It’s probably just another edge pop poser.”
