Suddenly walking faster down the street when seeing harmless black people at the bus stop.
Often the person pulling the vinnie will deny that they sped up.

Guy 1: Dude why are you suddenly walking so fast?

Guy 2: I don't know what you're talking about.

Guy 1: Dude. Just because you hate black people doesn't excuse you pulling a vinnie.

Pulling a Tinaz

When a person lacks the basic ability to get up and out of bed in time. Mornings for this type of person are a time of extreme internal conflict, anger, frustration and a kind of actual personal hell as they attempt to prize themselves away from their bed and into the bathroom, almost as if instead of resting, the sleep has actually somehow drained every ounce of energy from their body. As such, this type of person is consistently late for work and finds it impossible to make early morning meetings at weekends. CAUTION: Although often sweet and mild mannered, a 'Tinaz-puller' can be extremely dangerous if disturbed prior to 9am, expect windmill fists, grunting, swearing and all manner of diversionary tactics to keep themselves under the sheets.

"Where is Claire, Johnson?! It's the 3rd time she has been late this week!!"

"I am afraid she is Pulling a Tinaz."

OR

"Oh my god I slept through my alarm! It's 9.30! Can't believe I pulled a Tinaz AGAIN!!"

Pulling a John

When a guy is dating a girl and decides, after verdantly pursuing her for weeks, that he is no longer interested. Instead of being upfront and honest, he disappears without explanation. This makes interactions with the girl extremely awkward when they don't need to be. When the girl tries to find out what's going on by sending a thoughtful and honest text or email, the guy ignores this, making the girl feel rejected, hurt, and confused.

The reasons for abandoning the relationship are typically psychological in origin (i.e. mommy/daddy issues, fear of commitment/intimacy, etc).

"How are things going with Dan? You guys seem way into each other!" "Oh, I haven't heard from him in over a week. He dropped off the face of the earth. I guess he's pulling a John."
