"critical thinker": In my humble opinion and contrary to popular belief, I believe that child labor, sex trafficking, and genocide are morally right and should be legalized everywhere, and yes, I do consider myself to be a critical thinker.

Average Person: You stupid son of a bitch you're not a critical thinker you're an immoral egotist who thinks contrarianism is a one-way ticket to being a critical thinker. Blindly going against popular opinion doesn't equal critical thinking. In fact, it's just as far away from critical thinking as being for the popular opinion on everything.
