When you are so in love with someone that you feel like you are tripping on drugs in a way; you are *high* on love and they are all you think about. Sometimes people lose sleep over this because their thoughts about this person keep them up at night.

person #1: Hey what's wrong with Nate? He's been acting different lately..
person #2: Ah, he's love trippin' over his new girlfriend.
person #1: Is that why he's been all giddy and not been able to concentrate in class?
person #2: Yup.

When one drops by any such internet society (facebook, twitter, myspace etc.) and drop sweet nothings to several people in a matter of seconds just to show you care.

yeah... I thought I was important, but turns out that nice thing she said was just another sad love terd.
