The Djo Effect

A strange feeling of discomfort and agony that occurs when a piece of media (be it a song, a movie, a videogame, a book, etc.) that you are extremely fond of which was once relatively unknown to the general public suddenly becomes extremely mainstream via social media or some other means of publicity, thus kinda ruining the personal connection you had made with that piece of media.

Nigel Farage spreading disinformation was one of the main causes of the U.K. riots in 2024. A prime example of the cunterfly effect.

The sml (super mario logan) effect is a process in which a cast made of non original characters are slowly replaced by original characters resembling the cast. Noteable examples include SML and SMG4.

A phenomenon where firing high caliber rounds into ballistics gel from a close range causes the gun's fireball to be sucked into the resulting hole, causing the ballistics gel to briefly flash white.

The Kentucky Effect was clearly noticeable in the slow motion video.

When a past hookup continuously pops up in your life no matter how much time has time past. If you say their name 3 times they will appear sometime in the near future. You will never escape them, even on your wedding day. They will always be there.
