boyfriend asmr

A name for a style of audio roleplay by VAs focused on intimate relationships, often used on YouTube where the audio stops right before it becomes sexual and then linked away to a site that allows more sexual content and/or includes a paywall.

The audio usually tells a narrative leading up to kissing, touching, or sex and will simulate such sounds but no actual sex is had.

The audio is generally a conversation where the VA will play their own side of a conversation but leave the listeners side silent so listeners can imagine themselves as partaking.

Extensive foley is added to the audio including everything from rain to doors closing and cooking.

It is not asmr in the traditional sense as it is not intended to provoke tingles but rather arousal or at least excitment.

It is basically audio porn.
