He suffered from several ailments, including a chronic stomach ailment, he also struggled with an addiction to Heroin, which he overdosed from several times, including once in March of 1994, which resulted in an attempt to detox him, which failed when he escaped from rehabilitation, on April 5th, 1994, he shot himself with a shotgun in the greenhouse of his Seattle home, his body was discovered 3 days later by an electrician, he was 27 years old.
