hick

A derogatory word used by white people to retain (and exploit) their ancestors past as farmers. Many whites claim it's a term of endearment (akin to brother, friendo, etc), but in no way can it be as its root meaning is ignorance. It's another double standard of classism in our current time.

Black guy "what up hick"
White guy "hick?"
Black guy "you know what I mean bro"
White guy "you mean I'm a hick"
Black guy "Nah man, it ain't like that"
White guy punches the black guy.
White guy gets arrested for assault and released without charges because the black guy is accused of using derogatory slurs (that the White guy uses everyday in his vocabulary with his "brothers" that he has no idea if he's actually related to).

A high school gang in New Brunswick New Jersey. Usually undocumented Mexicans or Hispanics. They can be found in various neighboring Elementary Schools ,Middle Schools, and High Schools
