CopyKelly

A clique with girls just like clones, all copying the same girl (Kelly). They wear lots of makeup and Baby Phat /other designer brands. They talk like vallygirls, and are superskinny. They are usually considered popular, and spend their lives putting on lipgloss.

-Did you see that girl over there? She is SUCH a CopyKelly!
-Ugh, there goes the CopyKellys.
-(A copykelly would say) Where's my lipgloss? Oh my god, Kelly. Oh my god. You are sooo georgous today. Where did you get that fabulous shirt? *squeels and jumps up and down* Omg there's kyle. Heeeey kyle. You are like so hot. Luv ya!

Crop Punk

"Crop" a combination of "crap" and "pop." Also, something that is cultivated and grown for consumption. Crop Punk is any of a number of bands popping up in mainstream media that seem to have the exact same sound as every other band on the radio. Very common circa 2005-2006.

This can also be applied to hip-hop, aptly named hip-crop (crap-hop). Around mid 2007 it seemed that the hip-hop industry was, while keeping a few legitimate artists, cranking out one-hit wonder after one-hit wonder. These artists would be what is called "hip-crop."

Example 1--
A: I just got the new CD from Simple Plan!
B: You listen to that crop punk?

Example 2--
A: *Listening to iPod* "I'm hot cuz I'm fly! You ain't cuz you not!"
B: What are you listening to?

Crompy

A rough or hard texture to the ground underfoot. Often found around beaches or car parks. Can be surfaces such as gravel, rubble, sand or general debris.

OERs (Open Educational Resources) are one way around the copyfright restrictions. Prime examples of OERs are Wikipedia, Wikinews, Wikiversity, Wikiquote, Wikitionary, and Wiki books. They operate under free licensing like creative commons and GNU.

A: He just read the contract he has to sign to get his research published and is suffering from copyfright.

The contract that the best and most prestigious publishers require researchers to sign before agreeing to publish articles is blatant copyfright.

Example:
Don't let copyfright intimidate you from freely sharing your knowledge. Choose free licensing to disseminate your work online, and bypass all the copyfright legal traps.

In academia in order to become well known and get tenure, you have to sell your soul to the copyfright monolith.

Crop dusting

The act of farting and walking quickly around the room to spread the scent. Some people do this to deflect the blame of the fart, while others just want to share.

Who let off that stench? I think Calvin did it. Look at him circling the room. He's crop dusting it.
