Double standards

Asking other people an endless amount of questions to keep them from questioning you is trying to set expectations of them higher than you want them to set theirs for you (a double standard).
The girl could see and desperately try to pick at everyone's double standards but her own.

A double standard based more on somebody's personal negative feelings than on fairness.
Lindsay the supervisor would order people she hated to do more work than everyone else (move the goalposts on them) and was quicker to try and get them fired if she hated them (a negative feeling towards them she would always deny having or say someone else felt that way if asked simply, plainly, and directly) whether they did their jobs as well as everyone else or not. She lived by the same kind of selective double standard she would always try and poke fun at others for having.

Non-standard

Substandard version of anything. A nice way of saying someone is utter bullshit.
That is a non-standard size of paper, what am I supposed to do with this? Throw it in the trash and set the building on fire!

Double standard

Something that helps one person or group out and not another.
The reptilian boy girl was always listenened to by others when she described who she did feel comfortable around and didn't feel comfortable around, yet nobody else was listened to as to whether they felt comfortable around her. People gave her a benefit of the doubt males wouldn't get because she was female, and she capitalized on it, she played them with it. It was a double standard feminists would never mention, since they don't mention any that don't make themselves look disadvantaged and good at the same time in the public eye.

white double standard

An action that is excusable for white people but unequivocally condemned for non-whites.
The white double standard:
White extremists: "Those are just a few bad apples who probably have mental illness".

Muslim extremists: "All muslims should take responsibility for these attacks and we need to ban all of them from entering the country."
