"I could rock your set if I wanted to."

An overzealous celebration by a British gentleman trying to fit in to the American teenage generation by using slang that is before their time. It is often pronounced in a british accent by the non-British community.

The warden threw a party in the county jail
The prison band was there and they began to wail
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing
You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing
Let's rock
Everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock
Spider Murphy played the tenor saxophone
Little Joe was blowin' on the slide trombone
The drummer boy from Illinois went crash, boom, bang
The whole rhythm section was a purple gang
Let's rock
Everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock
Number 47 said to number three
"You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see
I sure would be delighted with your company
Come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me"
Let's rock
Everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock, Rock, Rock
Sad Sack was sittin' on a block of stone
Way over in the corner weepin' all alone
The warden said, "Hey, buddy, don't you be no square
If you can't find a partner, use a wooden chair"
Let's rock
Everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock
Shifty Henry said to Bugs, "For Heaven's sake
The prison band was there and they began to wail
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing

I wanna stick around a while and get my kicks"
Let's rock

It has no musical merit. It promotes Marxism. And it is just really really lame.
Hip Hop music is just the same. Damn you, 1979. Lmao counter culture.

Bob Weidman, composer and librettist of the hit rock opera Automatic Superstar, may be our greatest living rock operateur.

An exceptionally stubborn individual, usually over the age of 45, that adamantly listens on to rock and roll music that is pre-1995, but then bitches and complains that rock and roll has basically died out and the music industry is nothing but rap and country and pop, yet they still refuse to listen to modern rock and roll artists "because it just isn't the same as the older stuff", so they do nothing to support the current rock industry
I used to be such a classic rock douchebag until one day I realized how much good music I was allowing myself to miss out on, now I love rock and roll music from all decades and genres
