However, the vast majority of people simply use the day as an excuse to drink all day long and stay in a state of constant drunkenness. Bars bring in tremendous revenue during this day, some of which virtually depend on Parade Day. Most people in Scranton consider Parade Day a holiday and some would even call it their favorite.
