So he would come every night down town to the bar and talk to Kitty, have a drink, talk to his friends,and put on his nice guy civilized act. When girls came on to him and tried to talk him up about getting married, having kids- Matt Dillon didn't even put them into the equation. He just followed the law, did his duty and kept his job, and didn't get laid as a result.
