When your mom tried to raise you like a lady and dress you cute and do your hair but you cuss like a sailor, beat up the boys, can spit loogies, And out ride them all in the trails. Daddy was a road construction worker and mama ran the local beauty shop; mama tried-but that girl got her vocabulary from the grease monkeys in the garage.

She was one of the prettiest girls in town but that mouth on her came from her daddy; mama tried.
