An acronym which stands for "Not in Employment, Schooling, or Training". This term is derived from the acronym neet which stands for "Not in Employment, Education, or Training" which implies that going to school is equivalent to getting an "Education". Due to varying beliefs of the validity and true value of the modern schooling system, many have substituted "Education" in the term neet for "Schooling" by using the term Nest.
