Bristol Story

A story that is told at an incredibly random or inappropriate time that goes no where and is often redundant and that leaves people slightly confused as to why the person told it in the first place.

While at a party, a person (usually named bristol) comes up to you
Bristol: Today, i was at the grocery story with my mom and she wouldn't let me buy orange juice. i was really upset that i couldn't get orange juice; now i want some.
(people stare, confused and contemplating).
People: .........BRISTOL STORY.

Front-story

Purposefully creating a large chunk of back-story which has a different tone to a character's defined personality in order to justify a sudden change in behaviour. Often when a character is about to be written out of a TV series.

They just added a load of front-story to her character, she's obviously going to be written out.

Tonight's episode brought in a whole load of front-story.

Jim Story

(n.) A story that has been far blown out of proportion. Told by a friend who is apt to embellish major details of a story. Often identifiable by exposure due to simple questioning.

Jim Story:

Jim: "You'll never guess what just happened."
Friend: "What?"
Jim: "I just got charged by a moose!"
Friend: "What? No shit?"
(Actual details unfold)
Friend: "Wait, so..you mean the moose was on the other side of the fence..100 yards away, grazing, and merely glanced at you?"
Jim: "Yeah...well..it was pretty crazy."

Paige story

a story told by someone that starts out interesting and seems like it could go somewhere but ends without any real point resulting in a very anticlimactic story

The little kid tried to explain his dream but forgot the ending resulting in a Paige story.

Snap story

A feature found in the Snapchat app introduced in 2012

A place where people can post but is not limited to: what kind of stupid music there blasting while driving, how much fun they are having drinking illegally, photos for money, just how generally shit their life is and some sunset everyday and then the story deletes itself in 24 hours thankfully.

Scenario 1:

Chick 1: Shit this food look good
Chick 2: Let me put this on my snap story

Scenario 2:

Friend 1: Wow these homeless dudes are fighting!
Friend 2: Let me put this on the snap

Scenario 3

Frat boi 1: Wow this party is lit
Frat boi 2: Lets blast chainsmokers and put this on my snap story
