The word that people use to correct people who don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". Sometimes when people have an argument on the internet, they correct people's grammar. So in desperate need to look smarter, some people try to correct the person they're arguing with by typing *you're, even though they used the correct "your". So they end up looking like an idiot. which they probably are.
John: Your stupid
Ben: *you're
John: *dies*
or
Bob: Your profile picture is anime
Jason: *you're
Bob: No, it's "your". Think about it, what does "You are profile picture is anime" mean?
Jason: *deletes account*

For when you REALLY don't know when to use "you're" or "your".
Can be turned around to be clever if it is applicable both as a possessive and as the short form of "you are" (example 1); humiliating otherwise (example 2).

Example 1 - when one is in possession of a homosexual whilst also being one themselves.
Kevin: "What did you just say?"
Melvin: "You'r gay."
Example 2 - when you failed Grade 1 English.
Melvin: "That's not my homework, it's YOU'RS"

the word "you're" is basically you are but combined as one word. commonly confused with the word your, which is used when addressing something to someone.

You're* not to be confused with you're,is something you type thinking that whatever your typing with is part of a grammar-teaching website.People will often take advantage of other's bad grammar during an argument or when starting one to insult the enemy, with you're* being the most common ways of doing so
