As in the many Akira Kurosawa films, the samurai he plays is usually a cool guy, who likes to help people. Kurosawa films he has starred in,include, Yojimbo, Seven Samurai, Sanjuro, Throne of Blood, and The Hidden Fortress (which was one of the 5 influences for Star Wars). Sadly, Mifune died on Christmas Eve of 1997, and will be remembered as one of the greatest actors in history.
