moxious

An adjective that can be used to mean awesome, skillful, bold, daring, stylish, cool, and nearly anything else you want it to mean. It literally means full of moxie, but has taken on additional meanings through misuse of the word.
It usually describes a person or action that displays moxie.

- Did you see Jeff hit that half-court shot at the buzzer? That was moxious.

- He threw down a moxious insult on Billy, that left the whole class laughing.

- Sara tries to act moxious, but she's really just a poser.

A Moxon is someone who, despite the best job training, sales books and courses available, simply has no sales ability what-so-ever! Has no ability to CLOSE a sale, couldn't even sell a bucket of water to a man on fire.

Michael was given the best glengarry leads, had customers begging to buy his products and STILL managed to blow the deals. What a complete Moxon!

Moxie Soda

Moxie or Moxie soda is a drink that's most common in New England, though its an acquired taste. It tastes like Root Beer at first, but the aftertaste is bitter. The reason the aftertaste is bitter is that one of the ingredients is some Gentian Root Extract. In fact, Moxie was actually used as a type of medicine in the 20th Century because of the Gentian Root in it.
