A store that supposedly sells identity to losers who say 'fuck the system!' and have no idea that by buying clothes to fashion their own 'identity' they are not only feeding the system through it's capitalist grips, but also buying into the system's ideology that states looks DO matter and personality and individuality can be bought in a store. Luckily there's bands that hot topic cannot sell patches and tshirts for because their politics are completely critical of the system hot topic thrives off of. Unfortunately, these bands are too underground for rich suburban rebels to know about, and if they did know about them, it wouldn't be about the politics, but the status of actually knowing the bands. Get some Crass you losers, with the grinding horrible sound, there's no way you can ignore the politics.

A store that sells a few good things, and a lot of crappy things. I'll go there to buy a bracelet or a pair of shoes, maybe a band shirt. I don't think that wearing Hot Topic clothes makes you different, because, as your first grade teacher probably told you, your clothes don't make you "different". I also don't understand why some people think that wearing Hot Topic pants makes them better than everyone else.

A clothing store in which one travels to in order to obtain various articles of apperal. This establishment markets their merchandise towards those who desire to appear hardcore and to be original. But by shopping at this Hot Topic, you are not really original because anyone can shop there. If by shopping there you are looking to be original you are not original because if you were original you would already be original and not trying to be. A store that is found at malls. They have random accessories, a bunch of band t-shirts, pants, funny shirts, make up, underwear, hair coloring and cool shoes. Basically every thing a normal store would have. Many people think others shop here to try to be rebellious. Some losers do that, but others actually like what they sell and they shop there. Many parents are afraid of this store and think the people that are inside worship the devil. That's usually false.

A store...Preps, goths, normal people, rednecks, etc. shop there. Going to the store does not stereotype you. Every1 on here that thinks so is just as bad as a fucking prep. I personally think hot topics prices suck balls and they've sold out over the years, going softer and softer.
