Duct Tape Dubber

Someone who drives, maintains, and enhances (usually for aesthetics and/or performance) a vehicle made by Volkswagen, but whom does not possess the resources or finances to use quality parts to do so.

The term is derived from the use of duct tape and zip ties to hold together certain parts on a Duct Tape Dubber's car. Usually parts of the body like the bumpers.

(Pointing at a Mark I Rabbit with the muffler zip-tied in place) "There goes Tim, he's a real Duct Tape Dubber"
