Avatarism

Avatarism is an inquiry into the nature of character itself, an open source game/philosophy of conscious character creation and a worldwide humanistic movement. Created by Alexander Polinsky actor/artist/musician and the Reverend of Full Circle Venice. Avatarism is not a new idea, we have been embodying archetypes and animals and gods and goddessess for millennia. Among the ideas expressed in Avatarism are collecting skills, creating your character in the real world and building confidence through focused play. The Avatar

Master of all four elements; Water, Earth, Fire and Air. When the Avatar dies, he/she is reincarnated into the next element of the cycle.

Aang, 'The Last Airbender' was the Avatar, and was born to the Air Nomads. When he died, the next Avatar, Korra was born into the Southern Water Tribe.

Avatar Envy

You watch so much Avatar: The Last Airbender that you start to believe that it's possible to move water, earth, fire and air without making physical contact. You get extremely depressed when you realize that it's JUST. NOT. POSSIBLE...

I watched so much Avatar that I decided to try and do a water whip with all of the condensation on the window. It didn't work. I have Avatar Envy.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

A:TLA is the last show on Nickelodeon that doesn't portray good and evil. Instead, the show portrays neutrality, flawed people, mistakes, and perspective. It was even stated on page 147 of the book written by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender - Art of the Animated Series.

Many "fans" are in unreasonable denial of this fact and continue to think A:TLA is simplistic.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

the best show EVER on Nickelodeon. Yea, sometimes a little predictable but still great. Characters are awesome and and the whole plot and concept is great. Nick better stop airing new episodes of that mother-fuckin naked brothers and start airing the rest of avatar's season three. IT BEEN LIKE FOUR MONTHS ALREADY!
